I am a busy mom of two adorable girls and the person behind Rosy Maple Photography. Becoming a mother was the most fascinating, but at the same time, most challenging twist in my life. There is so much to learn, adjust, and accept as a new parent. My motherhood journey has pointed me in new directions, highlighted new priorities, and forced me to re-evaluate my beliefs.
When I realized how fast little ones grow, I focused on documenting our everyday moments and capturing each baby’s milestones. Now I regret that I have few maternity photos, and I wish I had those memories better preserved.
By the way, I am also a mom to a mini-dachshund – our little, adorable, and very photogenic member of the family. I love animals, and pets are welcome to participate in photo sessions. Pets have their own huge sentimental value, and you may find they can really help create cherished photographs!
I am sure it’s not easy to choose a photographer among so many professionals in Toronto. To understand if we are a good fit, I would like to share several of my core values.
I know how busy, overwhelming, and stressful a new life with a baby can be! I never rush a session and I follow your baby’s routine carefully, taking plenty of time for feeding and diaper changes.
I would like your experience to be as care-free as possible. I will provide you with my ‘How to prepare for a session guide’ to simplify your preparation. Also, I will help you with outfit selection. Moms and moms-to-be are welcome to borrow a dress from my client’s wardrobe. I love natural tones, earthy neutral colors, shades of white, ivory, and sage.
I offer naturally posed photography because I believe that babies are cute as they are without any additional props. I would like your photographs to be meaningful for you. If you have any sentimental items like a beloved Teddy bear from your childhood, I am happy to use it as a prop.
I am sure you will take countless photos of your baby on your phone. How many of your baby pictures include you? You are an important part of the family story. Let’s create your story of motherhood and capture your special bond between you and your little one. I offer beautiful boutique albums, mounted print boxes, and prints of museum quality which will last for generations to come.
